No one could have been more surprised than we that we enjoyed our stay at Desert Princess so much. We have never rented in a gated community before.
It was great! Tim and Gail are very helpful. The house was very clean and well set up with just about everything we needed. The whole complex is well maintained.

But the real highlight is the area. Palm Springs is a Mecca for outdoor oriented people. We spent an entire month hiking and touring the area. The Palm Springs Art Museum is a gem. Palm Springs is an area we will return to again and again. Loved it all.

The Desert Princess is a lovely golf course community, very close to downtown Palm Springs. The location was great and easy. Our rental home was spacious, clean and modern. Nice view of a pond from the back patio. The complex has 4 lap swimming pools that were never busy and many smaller sunning pools. They were never crowded. The community is gated, and the guard house was friendly and helpful. If you like a quiet atmosphere, this is it. Residents are friendly - mostly 50+, and low key. We enjoyed a huge kitchen and large dining room table with a pretty view so if you don't want to eat out all the time, this unit is terrific. It's pleasant to walk the grounds. We did not end up golfing but the course looked inviting - it made for a pretty view.

We decided to stay at Desert Princess over Memorial Day weekend because we wanted to golf. We looked at a few different places to rent and are so happy we went with this one. Tim was very nice and easy to work with via email. Also, our concierge was very helpful when we called and had a question about the FREE WiFi.

Relaxing in the living room was great. There is a wall of windows on the whole back side of the house with views out to the golf course. We enjoyed watching people go by throughout the day.

Beds were comfortable and bedrooms spacious. Both bedrooms had great bathrooms for full privacy, plus a half bath in the hallway for convenience. The house was very clean. The nearest pool is across the fairway although there is another one at the end of the long street. We ended up not using it although we walked over to check it out. Water was warm/heated and jacuzzi hot.

If you're hesitant to rent this place, rest assured you will be very comfortable here.
